The NEET-UG or the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Undergraduate, that includes the MBBS and BDS courses, is usually conducted by the CBSE. The Central Board of Secondary Education also takes the NEET-SS exam and also sets the NEET Syllabus 2018 partnering together with Prometric Testing located in the USA. By taking this exam, every medical candidate earns a chance to secure an admission for themselves in every government or private medical colleges present in every Indian city based on their merit across the vast country. The NEET exam has replaced the traditional All India Pre Medical Test exams in India based on the millions of complaints of corruption that many merited students faced against it. NEET Syllabus

The syllabus of NEET is based on the general syllabus that is taught medical colleges as prescribed by the board of Medical Council in India. The NEET Syllabus 2018 is based on the subjects of Chemistry, Physics, Zoology and Botany. The test would be taken based on the standard syllabus of class 11th and 12th. The syllabus of NEET upon reviews by various states like NCERT, CBSE, and COBSE has been approved by all the boards across India.

NEET 2018 Exam Pattern

The exam pattern of NEET 2018 is exactly as mentioned below-

1. The number of questions that are asked during the exam one hundred and eighty in total
2. The mode of exam is conducted on and offline mode meaning that a candidate has to use the pen to tick the correct answer on the answer sheet presented before them
3. The types of question that are asked during the exam are objective types where among the four options that are given only one provides all with the correct answer
4. The exam is set on the subjects of chemistry, physics and biology. Questions of both the branches of biology, i.e., zoology and botany are included in the questionnaire
5. The time duration during which the NEET exam is usually held is three hours
6. Candidates can choose any of the number of languages that are given to answer the exam paper in like English, Bengali, Hindi, Gujarati, Assamese, Marathi, Tamil and Telugu
7. The marking system of NEET is plus four marks awarded to each student with each accurate answer and one mark is deducted as negative marking per wrong answer that is given

NEET Answers

1. The answers of the examination would be released in the very week of the exam
2. It would be published online in the NEET website
3. Candidates can challenge the board if they find that the answer presented to them is wrong
4. The candidates would initially have to pay a thousand in Indian rupees for every answer that they would challenge
5. This payment would be refunded if the challenge is accepted and lost by the Board
