JIPMER Announced Final Counselling for 6 MBBS Seat

JIPMER, in a recent press release, has announced about the MBBS final counseling. You can find the notice with full detail on the original JIPMER website: The published date for the Final Counselling for admission to MBBS Course in 2018 is 28.09.2018 (Friday) at the Mini Auditorium, 4th Floor, JIPMER Academic Center, Puducherry -6.

Eligibility Criteria for this Counselling:

1. Candidates who scored higher than 50% in JIPMER MBBS Entrance Examination belonging to the UR/OBC/ST/P-OBC/P-SC are eligible to attend the counseling.
2. SC category candidates who got above 40% in the entrance test are eligible for this counseling irrespective of their previous attendance.
3. Candidates who have opted for MBBS course at Puducherry and Karaikal Campus in JIPMER won't be eligible for counseling.
4. The candidates must appear in person for counseling as representation won't be allowed in any circumstances.
5. Counselingwill be performed on a merit basis among the present candidates in different categories.
6. Candidates getting a seat in this final counseling should be able to join the course immediately after the Medical examination of JIPMER Hospital.
