Candidates from Meghalaya, Assam and Jammu and Kashmir are not required to submit the Aadhar card number. Which say, the candidates from other states except these four will have to submit their Aadhar number. Additionally, the aspirants will need to allow the CBSE to ratify the same. For NRI students, passport number is compulsory instead of the Aadhar number.
The CBSE conducts the exam as per the Dentists Act 1948 and the Indian Medical Council Act 1956. Also, both the acts were amended in 2016. The CBSE conducts this examination for the students who want to start their career in the medical field and want to become a doctor. So, this exam is especially to get admission in MBBS and BDA courses in the medical colleges approved by the Medical Council of India under the health ministry except for the institutes JIPMER and AIIMS which were set up through the Act of Parliament.
