The NEET-UG exam was proposed in the year 2012 was to replace the All India Pre Medical Test or AIPMT and all the other MBBS entrance exams that were conducted by different states or individual colleges themselves. The examination was initially supposed to be held from the year 2013 but with many colleges and other medical institutes going out to court to take out a stay order for conducting private examinations for the admission in their MBBS and BDS courses. All the government and private colleges of India are only allowed to give admission to only the students who meet the merit criteria of NEET 2018 Eligibility entrance exam.
If the particulars put down by the students on their form do not match with their AADHAAR card, then the candidates would not be able to file NEET. Therefore, all the aspiring candidates are recommended to ensure that their AADHAAR has all the relevant details like their name, DOB and gender-matched with their school records. Any mismatch in the details should immediately be corrected by the candidates in AADHAAR data as well as the school records.
