What Documents do i need?

You will need the following documents to seek admission in MBBS course in Russia:

1. A valid passport
2. Duly completed visa application form
3. Passport size identical photographs 35mm x 45mm, with white background
4. Visa support letter from the college or university and a copy of the admission or offer letter from the university.

What Eligibility Criteria do i need to fulfill?

If you are interested in studying MBBS in Russia, you must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

1. You must have passed 12^th Standard with subjects, including Chemistry, Physics, Biology, and English individually.
2. You must have scored a minimum of 50 percent marks aggregate in Physics, Biology, and Chemistry.
3. Last two years of study (11th and 12th) must have comprised of Chemistry, Physics, Biology, and English.
4. You must have completed the age of 17 years on or before the date of admission to the MBBS course.
5. Candidates belonging to reserved categories need only 40% marks in Class 12th with subjects, including Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English.
6. There no entrance exams or English language tests, as the admissions are solely subject to a first come first served basis.

In addition to that, an eligibility certificate from the Medical Council of India (MCI) for Indian students is also required (for seeking admission to Graduate Medical Courses in an Overseas Medical Institution). To get the eligibility certificate from the council, it’s mandatory to apply in the prescribed format that can be easily downloaded from the official website of MCI.

What is the latest news on NEET?

In a recent notice, the ministry Medical Council of India (MCI) has given one-time exemption to those students who haven’t at all registered for NEET, but also want to pursue MBBS course from a Russian university, provided the candidate should fulfill the following conditions:

1. Candidates are required to submit an undertaking claiming that they have not appeared/registered for NEET 2018.
2. Aspirants must also obtain an Eligibility Certificate from the Council before joining the foreign medical institute.

Because student intake in the majority of medical colleges in Russia or elsewhere outside India will get over by the end of September, this may be the final chance for the students aspiring to study MBBS abroad in Russia.
