Nanjing Medical University (NMU) or National Jiangsu Medical College was established in the year 1934. Initially it was established in Zhenjiang, but later it was moved to Nanjing, in the Jiangsu Province of China. Just because it was shifted to Nanjing, it was also renamed as Nanjing Medical College in the year 1957. MBBS Eligibility in Medical University

Every course and program has a certain line of requirements that needs to be fulfilled. So accordingly, MBBS degree at the Nanjing Medical University also has certain specifications that need to be maintained. Students aspiring to fill-up their admission forms for their MBBS degree will have to be minimum 18 years of age or maximum 25 years of age. The candidate should have a sound physical and mental health with good school grades. The candidate needs to have Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in 10+2. Also, he or she should have qualified NEET with at least passing percentage. After fulfilling the graduation qualifications, the graduates will be handed with a “Diploma Certificate” and students who pass the graduation course of years (academic and internship) shall be proudly given the Bachelor Degree of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery, MBBS.

Document Required For MBBS in Medical University

In order to get admitted to this prestigious institution, one has to present the following documents for verification so that each and every one are legally labeled as a true student of Nanjing University. Let us see what credentials are required:

1. Passport copy within validity period.
2. Highest Diploma/degree (notarized photocopy). If the applicant is pursuing study or is employed at the time of application, then they should submit a bonafide certificate or work experience certificate along with the application form. Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized translations in Chinese or English.
3. Transcripts of the most advanced studies (notarized photocopy): Transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized translations in Chinese or English.
4. Certificate of non-criminal punishment.
5. 10 copies of the photo of the same size as in the passport.
6. Other attachments (if needed).

Deadline for MBBS Admission

For this year, the MBBS admission procedure has been closed. As Nanjing University closes the application dates on the 30th of June every year. So for the next year as well, the same dates will be applicable.

Hostel Facilities

Nanjing University has arranged for accommodation facilities for international students. They have three campuses in total. One is located in No. 20 Jinying Street, Gulou District, one is in No. 163 Xianlin Street, Qixia District and the third one is in No. 8 Pukou Street, Pukou District.

However, there are certain specifications that need to be kept in mind before applying for the accommodation facility:

1. Book in advance
2. Offer 24 hours check-in service
3. One or two days check-in before semester begins is allowed. If you need more days, please communicate with school.
4. Either checking in first or register first is allowed.
5. Pay by semester or year in campus dorm.
6. Deposit for campus rooms: 600 RMB for room facilities and 1000 RMB for accommodation.
7. Tuition fee, accommodation fee and other expenses should be paid in cash.
8. Rent outside campus is allowed.
