Vinayaka Mission Medical College& Hospital was established in1996, in Pondicherry. The Medical College was established to provide quality healthcare education, research and training facilities to the budding medical professionals. The vision of the inception of the medical institute and the hospital was to provide affordable and high quality professional healthcare education and treatment facilities. The various medical undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs are recognized by the National Medical Commission or NMC, GOI, Government of Pondicherry, Ministry of Health of GOI, Vinayaka Missions University, UGC and MHRD of GOI. Admission Procedure of the Medical College

The college is renowned for its international-standards-equivalent courses with various specializations in Microbiology, Medicine, Surgery, Orthopedics, Anesthesiology, Child Health, Ophthalmology etc. Admission to 5 and a half years’ MBBS course inclusive of one year’s compulsory rotating internship period is based on the previous academic records. You need to have minimum 50 % marks in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and English in higher secondary examination and NEET Qualified to seek admission in the undergraduate medical courses.. The minimum age of a student has to be 17 years on December 31, in the MBBS admission year.
