S.S Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre was established to provide quality healthcare education, research and training facilities to medical professionals to deal with the increasing health problems of the society. The various medical degree courses have received accreditation from the National Medical Commission or NMC and Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. The passing candidates are awarded medical degrees and diplomas from these two administrative organizations. Admission Procedure of the Medical College

The college is renowned for its courses with various specializations in Medicine, Surgery, Physiotherapy, Pediatrics, Orthopedics, Obstetrics, and Gynecology etc. Admission to 5 and a half years’ MBBS course inclusive of one year’s internship period is based on the previous academic records. Scholarship is provided to meritorious students based on their performance in both past academia and entrance test. You need to have minimum 50 % marks in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and English in higher secondary examination and NEET Qualified to seek admission in the undergraduate medical courses. The PUC examination should be recognized by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences or Association of Indian Universities. The minimum age of a student has to be 17 years on December 31 for all courses in under-graduation. Total number of available seats is 150.

Integrated and inter-departmental conferences and seminars are conducted regularly. Research on contemporary medicine and surgical procedures is given due significance.
