Sri Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary Medical College

The Sri Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary Medical College was established in the year 2010 under the unit of the Dash mesh Educational Charitable Trust. The Trust applied for the establishment of the Medical College with the fitting authorities, and got its permission to begin the 1st year MBBS course studies from the academic period of 2010-11 with a capacity of 100 students per year. The institute is aimed at providing high quality medical care along with promoting education in Sikhism and related subjects, along with aiming to serve the community by providing better healthcare facilities those in need at an affordable cost.

Goal of SGT Medical College

Though the college is a new born, in terms of providing healthcare education to the students, it on its way to become one of the tops ranked medical colleges of India with the quality education programs and great its infrastructure for education. The goal of the institution is to provide quality healthcare education to students along with promotion of the principles of Sikhism. The institute also aims at offering low cost medical care to the poor, as a way of serving the society.

Eligibility of Students

A student has to be a minimum of 17 years to get admission to the college. You need to have minimum 50 % marks in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and English in higher secondary examination and NEET Qualified to seek admission in the undergraduate medical courses.

Fee Structures

The fee of the college is as per the order of the Honorable High Court and has to be paid through demand draft in favor of SGT Medical College is located in the NCR. The admission and course fees are around Rs 18,00,000 per year. The duration of the MBBS program is 54 months which is divided through 9 semesters of six months followed by a year of obligatory rotating internship in its Hospital.

The medical College building is a progressive structure with department-wise houses, lecture galleries, demo rooms, laboratories, research labs and also libraries. There is a full-fledged communication Center in the campus. Proposed is an auditorium of 1000 seats there are also canteen and dining halls, massive playgrounds and administration blocks. The campus is spacious and has a complete clinical, Para-clinical and basic medicine service departments. The environment is pretty conducive for concentrated studies and learning. There are also hostel facilities, medical care services and other units.
