Raja Rajeswari Medical College& Hospital was established in 2005, in Bangalore, Karnataka to provide quality healthcare education, research and training facilities to the budding medical professionals. The college is a constituent unit of the 1992-registered Moogambigai Charitable Education Trust. The vision of the inception of the medical institute and the hospital was to provide affordable and high quality professional healthcare education and treatment facilities. The various medical degree and diploma courses are recognized by the National Medical Commission or NMC. It is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. The passing candidates are awarded medical degrees and diplomas from NMC and RGUHS. The college-affiliated hospital provides comprehensive healthcare services to the underprivileged. Admission Procedure of the Medical College

The college is renowned for its international-standards-equivalent courses with various specializations in Medicine, Surgery, Cardiology, Urology, Ophthalmology, Dermatology, Pathology, ENT, Pediatrics etc. Admission to 5 and a half years’ MBBS course inclusive of one year’s compulsory Rotatory Internship period is based on the previous academic records. You need to have minimum 50 % marks in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and English in higher secondary examination and NEET Qualified to seek admission in the undergraduate medical courses. The minimum age of a student has to be 17 years on December 31, in the MBBS admission year. The Pre-University Course examination and eligibility certificate for admission has to be recognized by RGUHS. Migration from one College of Medicine to another is usually prohibited and is entirely dependent on the decision of NMC, for exceptional cases.

Various National and international workshops like CMEs and internal assessments are implicitly woven in the curriculum.
