Lord Buddha Medical College

Lord Buddha Koshi Medical College and Hospital is affiliated to Bhupendra Narayan Mandal University in Madhepura. The college is located in Saharsha and was established by the trust Lord Buddha Shiksha Prathisthan. The college is approved by the National Medical Commission. It provides MBBS courses of five and half years to students. In the last year of the course, students have to undertake an internship. The capacity of the MBBS courses is of 100 students. The academic year generally comprises of two semesters. Students need to qualify different internal assessment to be eligible for the university examination. Attendance is an important aspect for students to appear for these examinations.

You need to have minimum 50 % marks in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and English in higher secondary examination and NEET Qualified to seek admission in the undergraduate medical courses. The college follows the standard rules and regulations as laid down by NMC. They need to appear for the entrance examination, to enroll to the course. There are also reservations for NRI students during admission. The merit of the students and the score are taken into consideration during admission. The annual fee of the course is Rs. 12,00,000.

Students can avail the fully equipped library in the college campus. The library is well-stocked with different reference books, journals and visual aids. It has a reading room that can accommodate 200 students at a time.
