There are two courses that the college provides, MBBS and BDS. Both courses are affiliated with the Tribhuvan University and also with the Institute of Medicine (IOM). The college is also recognized by Nepal Medical Council.

Duration of MBBS in Medical University

The college provides an innovative curriculum for the MBBS program. The duration of the program is five and a half years. This includes a rotational internship that students complete after their final year.The teaching/learning activities of Community Medicine start from the first year and continue until the end of the course.Students who do not even complete the second year after the fourth attempt are expelled from the college.

The institute accepts Nepalese Scholarship Students which are selected by the Ministry of Education Government of Nepal, the Nepalese self-financing students that are selected by the Student Selection Committee of the college and international students (foreign students) which are selected on merit basis. MBBS Admission Process

These are the following steps to be followed for securing a MBBS seat:

1. The applicant should visit the college website and fill the application form.
2. The mark sheets for class X and XII and the other relevant documents should be scanned and uploaded with the application form.
3. A confirmation will be sent by the college and the candidate should visit the university/college campus with his/her parents to testify and present the original documents.
4. The candidate will fill the other necessary documents and sign the agreement of the rules and regulations.
5. The candidate will have to undergo a medical examination conducted at the college/university campus. The successful candidates will be offered the final admission to the MBBS course.
6. Once you complete all the required process, you are all set to fly for the destination to study medicine in Nepal.

Hostel Facilities

There are separate hostel facilities for male and female students. It is strictly prohibited for the male students to enter into the female premises and vice versa. The college offers twin and four-seater residential accommodations in the integrated basic Sciences Block (IBMS). The consumption of alcohol and other intoxicating substances is strictly prohibited.There are mess and cafeterias in the hostels that provide food facilities to the students and water facilities for 24 hours.
