Chirayu Medical College

Chirayu Medical College and Hospital was established in 2011 and is located at Bairagarh, near Bhopal, in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. The medical college is affiliated to Barkatullah University and is recognized by the National Medical Commission. As per the mandate of the council, 150 students are allowed to take admission to the MBBS course provided by the college. Duration of this course is of five and half years, in which the first four and half years are dedicated to didactic learning and practical, but the last year is solely dedicated to internship in the hospital associated to the college.

Accredited Laboratory Attached

A hospital with the capacity of approximately 555 beds is attached to this college.It provides twenty four hours emergency services and facilities for providing capabilities. The hospital offers state-of-the-art facilities in diagnosis, therapies and equipment like Color Doppler, ICU, PICU, and NICU. Seven operation theatres are attached to this hospital, which is equipped for both general and specialized surgeries. Also, there is a separate outdoor department and indoor department for patients. To each different department there are laboratories attached to it. These laboratories are certified by NABL and are accredited by CMCH Laboratory.A blood bank is attached to the college and is accredited by national agencies.

Parameters for Enrollment

To seek admission to this course, students have to complete 17 years of age on or within the 31st December in the year of admission. You need to have minimum 50 % marks in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and English in higher secondary examination and NEET Qualified to seek admission in the undergraduate medical courses. It is mandatory for them to have English in the senior secondary level. Admission is based on pre medical test and combined entrance test conducted by the state of Madhya Pradesh. The merit and performance are taken into consideration while enrolling students to this course. The fees for this course are approximately Rs. 11,41, 000 per annum.
